General Process of Camera Setup:

– In app -> ‘My Camera’ page -> Click + button in top right corner
– Select the model of the camera from the list.
– Then follow the guide in the app to complete the camera setup.

After camera setup:

After the camera setup, the following actions will be completed:

  • camera connected to your home WiFi or office WiFi
  • camera added to your phone
  • camera is protected and encrypted by the password you set.
  • you will be able to view the camera live video and recordings at home and remotely

Once you’ve set up the camera, if you turn it off and then back on, you won’t have to set it up again. The camera will automatically reconnect to the WiFi.

However, if you’ve moved the camera to a new location with a different WiFi network, you’ll need to set it up again. To do this, first reset the camera and then follow the setup process once more.


If you want to use the camera with no internet, or add camera on more phones after setup, check the below: 

– If you want to use the camera without WiFi or internet connection, no need to run the complete camera setup.
The camera is emitting its own WiFi to which the phone can be connected in order to use the camera.

– Once camera setup completed, the camera has been added to first phone.

Most Asked FAQs:

Issue:
I have tried to set up the camera, but the setup could not be completed as shown in the video tutorial. 

Solutions:
– First, try to reset the camera and thus check if the factory reset works.
To reset the camera: 
press the reset button on the camera for about 3 seconds. When the status LED begins to flash in blue quickly, the reset has been completed. Release the button and wait for the camera to reboot. The status LED will turn to purple first then finish to boot up and start to flash in red and blue.

Important Note if RESET does not work: if you press the reset button for about 3 seconds, but the camera’s status LED does not start to flash in blue quickly or does not either turn to purple, just click here to contact us. please also help mention ‘reset not work’.  

– Second, once the reset has been completed, you will see the Status LED on the camera flash in red and blue.
Now you can try either to set the camera up via Smart Scan or via AP mode.

Issue:
When pressing the reset button on the camera for more than 3 seconds, the status LED on the camera does not flash quickly in blue, there is no response.

Solutions:
– First, make sure that the camera is connected to USB power adapter and the power button is set to ON while you press the reset button.

However I am having a problem find the conversion file for AVX to MP4 for PC’s. – The link; https//wiwacam.com/AVX2MP4 didn’t take me to anything useful. – Also I noticed that even with English selected, many of the screen shots are not in English. – This makes it difficult to figure out what is suppose to be done.     I#m trying to setup an account in the app, but it dosen’t accept my password, i want to set. What’s needed as Password (length, charachter-settings) ?
