MW7 Pro Alarm Clock Camera Setup Quick Guide (Smart Scan)

Steps in above video:

– Remove the front panel of the camera.
open the back cover(using the reset pin in the box).

– Plug the camera into a power outlet. Put the ON/OFF button to ON.

– Wait for 30 to 40 seconds, see the time display on camera starts to rotate in a circle (rotating in circle indicates camera is ready for setup)

– Make sure phone is connected to the target WiFi (should be with 2.4GHz WiFi)
Launch WIWACAM app, tap the ‘+’ in top right corner, select ‘MW7 Pro’, and then follow the instructions.

– Confirm WiFi name is correct(should be with 2.4GHz WiFi)
Input WiFi password
Then click NEXT.
The App will display a QR Code on its screen.

– Keep camera about 6 inches (15cm) away from phone.
Let camera lens facing the QR Code at the phone screen.
keep an eye on the time display. Wait until you see the digits ‘9999’ or ‘6666’ on the Time Display, this indicates camera scan is SUCCESSFUL.

– Click the ‘NEXT’ button on the current app page

– name the camera and set your own camera password.

– Camera Setup done!

– Install the back cover back to the camera.
Install the front cover with glass back to the camera.
Connect camera to USB power.

FAQ: Camera is not added to the list after successful scan, how can I fix this?

Please follow the steps below,

Make sure that the camera is turned on and see the status LED of the camera is Solid Blue.
(Solid Blue means the camera has connected to home WiFi).

2. start the WIWACAM app. Click the “+” button in the upper right corner and select “manual”.

3. the app asks for the camera ID, the camera ID is on the label of the camera body, it is like R001234.
Then the app will ask for the name of the camera and the camera password (the default camera password is 123). Enter these two data.

4. the camera should be found and added.
