FAQ: Camera is not added to the list after successful scan, how can I fix this?

Please follow the steps below,

Make sure that the camera is turned on and see the status LED of the camera is Solid Blue.
(Solid Blue means the camera has connected to home WiFi).

2. start the WIWACAM app. Click the “+” button in the upper right corner and select “manual”.

3. the app asks for the camera ID, the camera ID is on the label of the camera body, it is like R001234.
Then the app will ask for the name of the camera and the camera password (the default camera password is 123). Enter these two data.

4. the camera should be found and added.

1. Connect camera to USB power adapter by USB cable in box. Put the Power Button to ON.

2. Make sure phone is connected to the same WiFi you wish to connect the camera to.
Run WIWACAM on phone.
(If you run the app for the first time, you need to register an app account)

3.Click the ‘+’ button in top right corner, select MW5 model.

4.Check if the LED on camera body is flashing red and blue, which means camera is ready.
Click NEXT in app.

Make sure app shows the name of the WiFi you wish to connect the camera to. 

(Note: make sure it is 2.4GHz WiFi)
(If app prompts ‘input WiFi name’, input WiFi name manually.)

6.Input WiFi password and click NEXT, a QR Code is shown on the phone screen.

7.The camera lens must now scan the QR Code. Keep lens 10 or 15cm away from screen and make sure the lens is stable so the QR code can be scanned quickly.

8.When scanned successfully, app will automatically move to next step . 
(If app has not moved to next step after minutes, click the NEXT button, and keep scanning QR Code.)

9.Name the camera and set your camera password.

10.Click NEXT, the camera setup is done!
